In Long Division you take a box and place the dividend 14 inside. On the outside you place the divisor 3. 3 goes into 14, 4 times. 4 times 3 equals 12. We subtract the 12 from the 14 and have a remainder of 2. Thus 14 divided by 3 is equal to 4 remainder 2
