Tetrominoes 2026 Instructions
Tetrominoes 2026 is a classic block-stacking puzzle game with a dark 80s retro twist. Random falling pieces made of four connected blocks, called tetrominoes, drop from the top of the board one at a time. Your goal is to move and rotate each piece to create complete horizontal lines across the 10-column board. When a line is filled with no gaps, it clears and you earn points. Clear four lines at once for a TETRO, which is worth the most points. As you clear more lines, the level increases and pieces fall faster. The game ends when the blocks stack up to the top of the board. Use the arrow keys or WASD to play. Left and right move the piece, down performs a soft drop for a faster descent, and up rotates the piece clockwise. Press Z to rotate counter-clockwise. Press the spacebar to hard drop the piece instantly to the bottom. Press C or Shift to hold the current piece and swap it for later. You can see the next five upcoming pieces on the right side of the board, and a red ghost outline shows where your piece will land. Press P or Escape to pause, and M to toggle music on or off. On phones and tablets, on-screen touch buttons will appear automatically. Try to survive as long as possible and beat your best score!
